Last day of the year, it's time to see if I achieved my 2018 goals.

segunda-feira, 31 de dezembro de 2018

Last day of the year, it's time to see if I achieved my 2018 goals.

1) To start to do Spanish course✖️ - I din't start because the class didn't achieve the minimum students number
2) To travel to Greece ✔️
3) To travel to Maranhão (Brazil)✖️
4) Begin college of Architecture ✔️
5) Back to play tennis✖️
6) Engage in a volunteer project with children✖️
7) Save money to my exchange program next year ✔️
8) Do not stay in final exam in college
9) Improve my English skill ✔️
10) Meet a blond man (it's a joke but if it comes, I won't complain ✔️
11) Travel a lot ✔️
12) Make good and true friend in college ✔️
13) To know the cities of the interior of Rio Grande do Sul ✔️
14) To know Florianópolis (Brazil)✖️
15) To spend a weekend in Gramado with my friends and a boy ✔️
16) Attend a Grêmio football game at the Grêmio Arena ✔️

Of 16 goals, I achieved 10 and a half, because I did not take the final exam in the college of all subjects, so the goal was half achieved. The goals that I did not fulfill, did not depend on me alone.

Goals that were NOT on the list but I fulfilled:

-> I started dating
-> I met a handsome greek on a trip and dated with him
-> I lived a love story movie worthy of movie/fanfic
-> So many boys interesting in me
-> I adapted very well to the new city
-> I bought a new cell phone

As you all saw, 2018 was an awesome year for me. Let there be 2019 and let it be better than 2018! Amen.

Taylor Swift street style

quarta-feira, 21 de fevereiro de 2018

"Street Style" is one expression used to classify clothes that celebrities and unknown people wear and they are photographed.

With frequency I will do posts of Street style about differents personalities showing looks that I liked. At first, it will be celebrities, but maybe in the future I start doing about unknown people, who knows?

I am not a fashion expert, I started liking fashion some years ago, so I won't do a super comment about the clothes, the style, the color, the fabric, because I am not an expert on the subjective.

I am excited to start this new subject on the blog, I hope you like it!

Dresses
Taylor's style is girlie - that one that uses floral clothes and delicate drawings -. I like a lot this kind of clothes, so that's why I like so much Taylor's style.

Cropped
My favorites <3

Basic outfit whit shorts
Who said that celebrities don't use the same clothe again? Taylor Swift is the proof that they use again!

So that's is. As I said in the begging of the post I am not a fashion expert, that's why I didn't write a lot of things about the clothes. I believe that as time goes by I will know more about the subject.

I hope you liked the post, I did with all my love!

#UniversityDiary: how is the college student's routine? #3

segunda-feira, 19 de fevereiro de 2018

Different from what we are influenced to believe, the university life's isn't easier than high school life's. Ok that we can arrive and left at the time we want (in Brazil, at least we can), and we have many parties, but things aren't so good.

1) We have to study and read a lot
Seriously, when I say that is many stuffs, believe in me, it is many stuffs. Before I get in university I didn't know what is the "many stuffs" they said, but only when I get in I understood: texts and books (of difficult and boring reading) of all subjects to read every week. The number of pages range from 30 to 400 pages. Yes, we have 1 week to read a 400-page book (it's almost impossible be able to read everything known the amount of things we have to do).

2) Many works to do
Every week the students are presented by teachers with works. I swear that I don't know where teachers get so much creativity to create work theme, because, seriously, EVERY week I have at least 1 work of any subject. That are on average 2 jobs per day, 10 per week. And when I don't have work in a week, in the next week I have double work to "compensate" (I have a crazy teacher that give 2 different works in one day).

3) Party? No, I'll stay at home sleeping!!!
College activities are so tiring that when the weekend comes the only thing we want is to stay home doing nothing, resting, because you are so exhausted. Going out at the weekend or going to parties isn't something you think about.

In short: a college student's routine is to wake up early to go to college, attend classes, study at home, do work and seminars, and study harder. This, of course, if you want to be a good professional and want to stand out in your area, because if you do not want to, forget everything I said, your routine will be hang out every day after class and spend the entire college without read a text or book; but I assure you, your opportunities will not even come close to the opportunities of that person who studied and devoted himself to the entire college.

But and the tests? In my course, at least, the tests are not those traditional tests where the teacher asks questions and the student answer. In my college, students are evaluated by the photos they take (photojournalism), texts they write (stories, reviews, critical texts), seminars they present, millions of works we do and participation in debates held in the classroom. Some of these jobs are much more difficult than the traditional test, so in some cases we prefer the traditional test.

Despite having a crazy routine, college is a very good time that must be lived intensely #EnjoyWithResponsability

Falling in love is a trouble

sábado, 17 de fevereiro de 2018

TRANSLATE: Best role of idiot.

"So boy
You just be honest with me
I know we can make this work
Love You
I know that you afraid, babe
But you don't need to be saved babe
You just need someone that understand
And I think I need the same babe"

You already have Justin Bieber hairstyle, short, black, tuft, scraped lateral, blonde and now hair fringe, but do you what never changed? The fact that I always was near - not physically, because you even know that I exist - loving you and supporting you.

"Tell me what you want, let's keep it gangsta
Tell me who created you. I'd thank her
Hopefully you'll give me a chance
All I want is love and romance
I wanna give it al, give it all to you"

I was 9-years-old when I met you, and you was 14-years-old. I was naive. Your smile and your rola fascinated me. I really believed that you had no defects, I really believed that you could like me and we will be happy together, what a fool of mine!

"Tell me what you want, I can't believe it
I know that if we make it there's a reason
Sometimes it ain't breezy
I hope that maybe this time it may be different
I told you I'mma make it happen, I commit it
Yeah, you took your shot and didn't miss it
Ain't nothing more attractive than a mission"

You did do many things, involved me in so many problems and I always defended you, I always found an explanation and I believed in what you said. I argued with people that said bad things about you BECAUSE OF YOU, because I loved you. But today, with 16-years-old, I see how blind I was, I didn't see what was clear.

"If I came to your crib would you open the door?
I don't wanna go down that road no more
I wanted it more
You're the only I wanna be with, yeah"

You had lost all your friends, your family didn't talk to you anymore, your neighbors hated you, my parents didn't like you, no one wanted to see your face, but not me, I thought that they were being unfair with you, I didn't realize that if the whole world was against you, the problem was with you.

"The world against you and I against the world", this was my motto.

"My mamma don't like you and she likes everyone
You should go and love yourself.
When you told that you hated my friend
The only problem was with you and not them
And baby I be movin' on"

This is what passion does to us, it make us blind, it prevents us from seeing the obvious. Passion make us act like idiots/ We do everything for someone that despises us, someone that don't have a minor interest in us.

"I wanna dream what you dream
Go where you're going
I only have one life
And I only wanna live it with you
I wanna sleep where you sleep
Connect with your soul
The only thing I want in life
I only wanna live it with you."

We spend many hours of our lives thinking in that person, idealizing moments, thinking in what he should be doing, with who he is, what he is feeling, if he thinks in us as we think in them. ITS OBVIOUS THAT HE DOESN'T THINK IN US, but it's part of the show.

"Was I a fool to let you break down my walls?
You got your hazard lights on now
Hoping that somebody would slow down
God sent an angel to help you out
He gave you direction
Shower you how to read a map
But you squandered the chance"

And in a beautiful day our heart is broke and we wake up to life, we see everything that we never see. We see in what point we arrive because we liked so much that person, and we feel like fool. We ask to ourselves: "How I could be so blind?"

"You think you broke my hear, oh boy, for goodness sake
You think I'm crying, oh, well I ain't
And I didn't wanna write this cause I didn't want anyone thinking I still care
I don't
And I never like to admit that I was wrong
And I've been so caught up, I didn't see what's going on

And now I know, I'm better sleeping on my own."

* The texts in italic are parts of Justin Bieber's song (One Life, Love Yourself and Life is worth living).

PLAYLIST: Spanish songs

quinta-feira, 15 de fevereiro de 2018

English songs are most known, but what if you left your comfort zone and started to listen song in foreign language? And why don't you start with Spanish, a language very similar to Portuguese?

I listed ten old Spanish songs that I love and you have to listen! They are artists extremely talented and are better than many famous singers. In Brazil, they aren't known (except Enrique Iglesias and Maluma), but in South America they are very famous.

If we add the number of views of the official clip of these 10 song, the number will be higher than 3.147.815.000 (higher than 3 billion! views)

Let's see?!

1. Addicted, Maluma

2. Bailando, Enrique Iglesias ft. Descemer Bueno, Gente de Zona

3. Carnaval, Maluma

4. Climax (cover), Maluma

5. La invitación, Pipe Bueno ft. Maluma

6. Love & Party, Joey Montana ft. Juan Magan

7. Me Gustas Tanto, Maluma

8. Moribundo, Joey Montana ft. De La Ghetto

9. Picky, Joey Montana

10. Primer Amor (cover), Maluma

CURIOSITY:

Maluma has a song with 2 Brazilians singers: Lucas Lucco and Anitta. Probably you know Anitta, but Lucas Lucco is one of the most famous singers in Brazil.

Do you want to listen the songs? Just click play to listen the songs!

Princesinha, Lucas Lucco ft. Maluma (Portuguese-Spanish song)

Sim ou não, Anitta ft. Maluma (Portuguese-Spanish song)

More ahead I will make a new Spanish songs playlist with current songs. Keep an eye on the blog!

Wishlist: Funko!

terça-feira, 13 de fevereiro de 2018

Some time ago I discover the Funko's world and I totally fell in love. I bought my first 3 Funko's (Harley Queen, Joker and Justin Bieber) and I can not wait to buy new ones - what is preventing me is money. I will do 5 trips on next months (Greece, Spain, Maranhão [in Brazil], São Paulo [in Brazil] and a beach trip in Brazil), so I have to save money to can spend there.

BUT, nothing prevents me to look at new ones, so here is my Funko wishlist.

What do you think? As I shop (if I buy), I update you.

Live the life you want to remember

domingo, 11 de fevereiro de 2018

And if someday you wake up and realize that the person you married isn't the love of your life? And if you look at her and realize that you don't love her? And if you conclude that your married is the reason to your unhappiness? Probably your married will end in divorce, as 50% of the weddings.

And if then you get the divorce, you realize that the married wasn't the reason of your unhappiness, and of course, your professional frustration? Easy, you leave you job and set up a photography studio, that always was your dream.

The years go by and you started seeing that the things aren't so easy. You are not so young anymore and your beauty go away in the meddle of the frustrations of life and the arrival of the age.

Your parents already died, your sister is in Switzerland with her husband and two kids, your friends are enjoying married life and the pregnancy, and you... You are without husband, without financial stability, without a family, without accomplishments, just observing everything from outside, seeing everybody around you achieving their goals.

The depression, that you didn't even remember that you having terrorized for years, coming back softly. Your frustration just get bigger.

You asked to yourself: "Where did I go wrong?", "What did I do wrong?". And you start to cry, feeling (insecure) a teenager again.

This story can have several ends, it only depends on you. Do you want to reach 40-years-old and feel like the woman of the story or do you want to feel fulfilled?

Today's choice will reflect on tomorrow, so live the life you want to remember.

#UniversityDiary: how does university works in Brazil? #1

quarta-feira, 7 de fevereiro de 2018

UFMT - Federal University of Mato Grosso
#UniversityDiary will be the highlighter that I'll use to write about my experience in college, but first of all, I have to explain the difference between university in U.S. and university in Brazil.

In Brazil, we have public and private universities and we also have college, as in U.S. - in Portuguese college call "curso tecnólogo" or "curso profissionalizante".

The difference between university and college is the same as in U.S., university is more expensive and lasts longer than college, and college "has lower value" because it lasts less.

And speaking about universities, public and private university has A LOT of differences. The first one is that public is free and private is paid. The second one is about the quality. This topic is controversial, I'm already saying.

In Brazil, in recent years there has been a reversal in education. Education isn't a priority of ours politicians, unfortunately, so the public education isn't a reference (in other words, isn't good), BUT as public education has a story in our country (in the past, private universities were discriminated), many people still prefer study in a public university and don't agree that private university is better (despite being). So, as I said, it's a controversial topic because everybody has an opinion and not everybody agrees.

So, to study in a university in Brazil we have to do an exam called "ENEM" or "vestibular" that is like SAT that you have in U.S. (they are two different things. The difference is that ENEM is for public universities and vestibular is for private universities).

So, when we finish senior year we did ENEM and/or vestibular and we choose an course that we want to do. Any course has a minimum points, called "nota de corte" (passing score), who changes from university to university.

ENEM exam
If we achieve the passing score, we will "fight" for a vacancy (because there aren't vacancy for everybody, there are about 40 vacancy for thousand students), and who had the higher score will be in. Who can not, will have to wait one year to try again (in this year he/she will do an preparative course for the exam to try be in. If he can't again, he will still studying and trying till he can). One year, because the exam happens once a year.

Of course this is the worst time of the students life, because it's a time of much stress, pressure, dedication, existential crisis and a lot of questioning of the system - just to you know, students who wants to do medicine school hardly enter in their first attempt, because it's the most competitive course. They study from 3 to 6 years, before they graduate on high school, just to be in the university (this time is a national average of how long students take to get approved in medicine school). They spend 3 to 6 years of their lives just to be in, they didn't even start college yet! After this, they will study more 6 years to graduate. This system is cruel!

So, after you pass all this stress and getting into university, you finally will know what is being in university. But I have to say that the most common thing in Brazil is people don't do the course they want because of the degree of difficulty of the exams. It's sad.

As I said in my biography, I'm not a native English speaker and I created this blog to practice my English, so if I made any mistake, let me know, write on the comments! I want to improve my English, so don't be afraid to correct me, on the contrary, I want to know! Thank you :)

Let's talk about feelings

segunda-feira, 5 de fevereiro de 2018

Sometimes, feeling can be more treacherous than people.

After I know the theory "who irritates you, dominates you", I could not stop thinking about a asshole boy, and the worst, I realize that a I had think him when I read the theory.

"But why I can't get him off of my mind?", I asked myself, annoying.

"I hate him!", I tried to use this argument as supreme argument to my annoyance.

And in this time, when I think and tried to understand - extremely irritated, annoyance, sour - the reason why I can't get him off of my mind, I truly understand what the theory means. This boys annoying me so much that he dominates my thoughts. I waste so much time stressing over him, complaining about him, that I didn't see that my life revolved around him - conversations [I always find a way to complain about him], the parties I went and he went too [he looked at me with that ugly look, which made me complain about his presence and groan inside me], the walks I did and saw something that remind me about him, the people who treat me with ignorance [it was impossible to see someone being stupid and don't remember him] or when I was with my friends, colleagues or known people and they asked how was our [hate] relationship -.

My life had started to revolve around him and I didn't want this, so I decide that I would stop thinking abou him, I was determinate.

So I did - and I saw that it wasn't so hard. When I was busy, I didn't remember his existence.

I was happy with the result, my quality of life increased absurdly since the done.

Months were passing, and I stopped nourishing the hate or any feeling that I had for him, only having irrelevance.

It was what I, mere mortal, thought.

Everything changes when I said to my friend, who has crush on him, that I wanted to be a godmother of a son of him and she replied me that later they married, she had to get way from me, because if she doesn't, he would cheat on her with me, because she knew that he had a crush on me.

That comment left me in the clouds, really, that means so much to me that, without I realize, I rated as the best new that I received. Wait, didn't I hate him?

"I know he had a crush on you" means so much that till today my heart smiles when I remember she saying this.

Later this episode, I started to observe his attitudes about me, and my reaction, and I scared when I see that I was smiling alone remembering of him looking at me and trying to disfarce after I catch him looking at me.

My opinion about it? It's amazing how the world goes around.

My advice? Live without regrets.
